Children aged 4 and under can ride for free without occupying a seat. Children must be taller than 1 meter. Note: One adult can only bring one infant.
Family tickets can be a combination of 2 adults and 2 children, or a combination of 1 adult and 3 children, in principle.
Jet boats are rarely cancelled due to force majeure such as weather. If cancelled due to weather reasons, a full refund will be given.
The meeting point can be selected from the store in Queenstown, or you can drive to the BASE by yourself. Once selected, you must strictly meet at the scheduled location. Late arrival will be deemed as NO SHOW, and no changes or refunds will be made. Please be aware of this!

Q: What should I wear?
A: We recommend that you choose the appropriate clothing according to the weather conditions. One thing to remember is that when the speedboat is speeding, the wind will blow colder, especially in winter. Although our handrails are heated, please dress warmly. Ski equipment, hats and gloves are very useful in winter! Don't forget to wear sunglasses and apply sunscreen in summer.
Q: What is the minimum age limit? Can children take the speedboat without a guardian?
A: All children must be over 1 meter tall to board the boat. Depending on the river and weather conditions on the day, Shotover Jet reserves the right to adjust the minimum height of children. The minimum height may be increased to 1.2 meters to maximize passenger safety.
Children aged 10-15 can board the boat alone, but a guardian must be present. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult on board.
Q: Where can I store my belongings?
A: We have lockers at the boarding area, you can safely store your belongings here before boarding.
Q: Can I bring a camera/camcorder?
A: We welcome you to bring a camera to Shotover Jet, because the scenery here is charming, so you can take a lot of wonderful photos if you are at our observation deck! However, for safety reasons, your various devices on the speedboat will have a high chance of getting wet. For the safety of you and other guests, we do not allow private cameras, camcorders and mobile phones on board.
We have carefully installed cameras on the front and back of the speedboat to capture your wonderful expressions at any time. If you want to see more photos and videos, you can go to our gift shop to view your photos and videos. If you like, you are welcome to buy them.
