FAQ about the project

Q: Can you see penguins during the day?
A: Yes. If the penguins are at home during the day, you can visit their nest boxes while following the guide. Penguins like to stay in the nest boxes during the day, but we have a special design that allows us to see their nests. There is a penguin nest for viewing here, and the number of penguins that can be seen depends on the season.
Q: What do penguins usually do after they leave the nest?
A: After dark, penguins that stay at home during the day will come out of their homes, and those penguins that go out to sea to fish during the day will also come back and be more active. You will see these penguins at night.
Q: How long does a trip take?
A: The guided tour is 20 minutes, and the rest of the time is free to visit. It is recommended to reserve more than 40 minutes; at night, depending on the actual situation of the penguins returning to their nests, the entire activity is about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. It mainly depends on how much time you have~
Q: What clothes should I wear?
A: No matter what time it is, try to dress warmly.
Q: Can I take pictures?
A: Taking photos is prohibited. The noise and bright light may scare the penguins.
