FAQ about the project
Riders must be 16+, fluent in English, and have not consumed alcohol or recreational drugs in the past 12 hours. A valid credit card is required for liability insurance on the day.
Q: Is it okay if you have never ridden a quad before?
A: We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are able to operate a quad. Riding a quad for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking, but we pride ourselves on making riding fun for all riders.
Q: What is the age requirement?
A: 16 is the minimum age. If you are under 16, you can ride as a passenger in the two-seater coach (the minimum age for this ride is 12). There is no upper age limit.
Q: What type of vehicle is it? Is it easy to ride?
A: We use a combination of Can-Am & Honda quads, which are fully automatic quads with 400cc engines.
Q: What is the approximate terrain and route like?
A: We have a site in Queenstown Hill, which is a 3,500-acre farm. There are more than 20kms of cycling trails, which can be enjoyed by both beginners and technical players. Most of our trips are from the base at an altitude of 300 meters to the top of Queenstown Mountain, which is less than 1000 meters above sea level.
Q: What will the weather be like?
A: The areas covered by our activities are all outdoors. We will cancel the activity if all the paths are different or the visibility is 0. This situation is usually due to deep snowfall and is rarely encountered, so don't worry~~
Q: What do I need to bring and what are the dress requirements?
A: We provide helmets, gloves, long pants and jackets, rubber boots and goggles. You can wear your own shoes, but you have to wear shoes that don't expose your feet at all~ We provide hot drinks and biscuits, but we also recommend that you bring your own water, especially in summer! If you have a camera, you can take pictures of the beautiful scenery during the trip. It is strongly recommended to bring one~
Q: Can I participate if I am pregnant?
A: It is not recommended for pregnant mothers to ride~
Q: How long does the whole journey take?
A: The whole trip is about 3.5 hours, including 2 hours to 2 hours and 15 minutes of riding time and 20 minutes of round trip from the base.
Q: Any other precautions?
A: We have a strict drug and alcohol policy. If the instructor believes that you are still under the influence of these and are not suitable for driving or riding a quad, we cannot take you to participate~ and there may be no refund~~ This is for the safety of all riders on the trip. You need to bring a valid credit card on the day of the event to prevent the equipment from being deliberately damaged, similar to the procedure for renting a car.
