Cancel policy

  • Outside of New Zealand working hours and more than 72 hours in advance, changes and cancellations are free of charge. A 50% fee is deducted for changes or cancellations made between 72 to 48 hours, and the full amount is charged for changes or cancellatio

FAQ about the project

As long as the flight is conducted and no whales are seen, there will be no refund.
Children under 2 years old (inclusive) and weighing less than 18kg are free, and each adult can only bring one free child.
The flight will be cancelled due to uncontrollable reasons such as weather. If cancelled due to weather conditions, a full refund will be issued.
The check-in time is 20 minutes earlier than the session, and you must go to the Kaikoura Airfield store outside Kekula Town to gather. Please fully reserve your time on the way. Late arrival will be considered as NO SHOW and will not be changed or refunded. Please be aware!
Q: Can you fly very low and get very close?
A: No, watching whales by plane can be quite far away, please be aware.
Q: Can dolphins still be seen?
A: I cannot guarantee it, but there is a possibility of seeing it.
Q: What are the types of whales seen?
A: GIANT SPERM WHALE, who can grow up to 22 meters in length, lives in Kekula all year round, and can also see Orca, Humpback, Southern Right, Minke, and Blue Whales
