The maximum weight is 100 kilograms. All those who weigh more than 95 kilograms need to undergo an assessment by a tandem skydiving instructor at the skydiving location.
The minimum weight is 30 kilograms/66 pounds, and the minimum height is 1.2 meters/47.2 inches.
All passengers must be able to safely adapt to the skydiving equipment.
The minimum age is 6 years old.
Children aged between 6 and 12 years old are allowed to skydive from a height of up to 9,000 feet.
Passengers under 18 years old need written consent from their parents or guardians.
Those with a weight between 115 and 125 kilograms can also skydive, depending on whether there is a suitable tandem skydiving instructor available on the day. If there is no suitable tandem skydiving instructor available for your weight on the day, you can choose to reschedule or cancel, and the activity company will offer a full refund.
If the health and weight evaluations are not passed on-site, the activity company will offer a full refund.
Q: How long will I have free fall time?
A: The free fall time at a height of 15,000 feet (about 4,500 meters) is 60 seconds.
The free fall time at a height of 12,000 feet (about 3,600 meters) is 45 seconds.
The free fall time at a height of 9,000 feet (about 2,700 meters) is 25 seconds.
Q: How fast is the speed during free fall?
A: The maximum speed can reach 200 kilometers per hour!!
Q: How long is the flight time of the aircraft?
A: The flight time of the aircraft depends on the chosen flight height. From 15,000 feet (about 4,500 meters) to each flight height, it takes approximately 15 minutes.
Q: Can I take the same aircraft with my friend?
A: Our aircraft can carry up to 9 passengers at a time. Therefore, it is very possible to take the same aircraft for skydiving with your friend. The arrangement of passengers on the aircraft needs to take many factors into consideration. We will try to arrange for groups to take the same aircraft.
Q: Do I need to prepare anything special?
A: There is no special item that needs to be prepared. Just wear shoes that won't fall off in the air and appropriate clothing is sufficient. In winter, we recommend wearing several layers of close-fitting clothes to be more comfortable than wearing just one coat.
Q: Do I need to take my glasses with me for skydiving?
A: No, you don't. We will provide goggles that fit over your glasses.
Q: Can I bring my contact lenses for skydiving?
A: Of course, but we suggest you bring eye drops in case your contact lenses dry out.
Q: Can I bring my friend to watch me skydive?
A: If there are available seats on the bus, we can offer free rides to your relatives or friends. However, we cannot guarantee availability or reserve seats in advance. The decision will depend on the bus's load at that time. We welcome relatives or friends to drive to the skydiving site to watch. We will introduce the viewing location to them. Generally, one skydiver is allowed one relative or friend to watch. On the last round of skydiving of the day, you cannot take your relative or friend to watch.
Q: What will happen if the weather is not suitable for skydiving on the day?
A: Since skydiving is a sport greatly affected by the weather, if there is an unsuitable weather condition for skydiving, we may cancel the original skydiving plan. We will try to reschedule the delayed skydiving to the next round. In seasons with changeable weather, we recommend you to schedule skydiving on the earliest date of the itinerary and reserve one day as a backup. If you cannot arrange the next skydiving time, we will refund the full amount to you.
Q: Can I bring my own camera on the aircraft?
A: Unfortunately, considering safety and insurance factors, personal cameras and Go Pro extreme sports cameras are not allowed on the aircraft. Due to the extreme natural environment during skydiving, all photography equipment must be inspected before being carried on board. However, you can take photos for the purpose of preparing for boarding before getting on the ground. If you wish to capture the scenes during the skydiving, we can arrange for a professional photographer to jump with you and assist in taking pictures.
Q: Do you offer insurance?
A: I'm sorry to say that we don't provide life insurance. However, you will be covered by the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) of New Zealand for medical expenses in case of accidents. Some insurance companies offer insurance for tandem skydiving.
