  Depart from Te Anau and take a boat to Sandfly Point Pier. The trail stretches along the winding Arthur River, passing through dense rainforests until it reaches the Giant Gate Waterfall. Standing on a suspension bridge spanning the river is the best angle to appreciate this magnificent waterfall.
