A: The voyage routes of the two are the same. The scenery cruise ship introduces many languages, a variety of lunches to choose from, experience a comfortable sightseeing tour on a luxury ship, and the cruise time is 1 hour and 40 minutes shorter than the 2 hours and 30 minutes to explore the nature cruise. The boat exploring the nature cruise is only explained in English. There is a nature guide on the ship, a simple lunch, and the boat is also smaller.
Q: How long does it take to get to Milford Fjord?
A: Milford Fjord is about 5-6 hours' drive from Queenstown and about 3 hours' drive from Tianao. Note that there is no gas station on the way from Tianau to Milford Fjord.
Q: Where to park and check in tickets after arriving at Milford Fjord?
A: There is free parking in Milford Fjord. It is best to reserve a 45-minute parking space and go to the visitor center for ticket exchange and boarding. Ticket check-in and boarding is required no later than 20 minutes before the departure time.
Q: Is there a locker in Milford Fjord?
A: There are limited lockers in the Milford Fjord Visitor Center.
Q: Can I pick me up at a hotel in Queenstown or Tianao?
A: If we book our bus to Milford Fjord, we will pick you up at most hotels in Queenstown or Tianao. When you make a reservation, please inform us of the hotel address you want us to pick you up, or set out from our local visitor center.
Q: What if we can't get off from Milford Fjord due to the weather?
A: You can apply for the difference between the flight from the agent where you bought the ticket, and you can take a bus back to Queenstown.
Q: When do I need to arrive at the meeting place?
A: Please arrive at the assembly point at least 20 minutes in advance, and check the ticket to board the ship no later than 20 minutes before the departure time. January-April is the busy season. It is best to reserve a 45-minute parking and go to the visitor center to change tickets and board the ship.
