Activity information

  • Itinerary overview

The vertical height of the snow peak is between 1,500 and 2,500 feet (460 meters to 760 meters), and the sliding area is located in hidden basins and bowl-shaped terrain without trees, as well as wide and smooth flank slopes. The introductory tour is suitable for players who experience helicopter skiing for the first time and enjoy the endless fun brought by the natural alpine park. 1. We will check the weather early in the morning. If everything is normal, we will inform you that we can send a group today and inform you of the time to meet you. 2. We will drive to your residence to pick you up, and then take you to the meeting place to meet the pilots, guides and other group members. 3. Make a safety introduction, explain how to use the avalanche searcher, and safety matters in the helicopter and in the mountains. Then take a helicopter to the first snowy peak of the day. 4. At lunch, all groups gather together to enjoy a buffet, relax for a while, and exchange the morning skiing experience with each other. 5. After that, continue to fly to different snow peaks to experience skiing and end the wonderful day. Finally, we will drive you back to your residence from the meeting place. You can fully relax in the hotel, or go out to experience the "post-ski culture" in Queenstown or Wanaka in the evening.

Ability requirements: suitable for double-board or single-board players from intermediate to advanced level
There is a minimum number of people in the activity, and the activity company has the right to cancel the trip that does not reach the minimum number of people.
Snow conditions and weather conditions:
The location of helicopter skiing is located in the high mountain area above the forest line, and the activity is affected by weather conditions. We recommend that you sign up for helicopter skiing with us as soon as you arrive there, and arrange a flexible itinerary to cope with bad weather and changing snow conditions. Contact us for the latest information.
Ski equipment:
Alpine skis, Trima snowboards and snowboards are fine. You can choose how to ski freely according to your preferences. Our guide recommends the use of wide-body pink snowboards, which are not only suitable for skiers of all levels, but also conducive to increasing stability in difficult terrain and making the skiing process more relaxed and enjoyable. All equipment can be rented locally.
Q: What is the distance of taxiing?
The length of the distance depends on the sliding terrain and snow conditions, and the vertical height ranges from 600 meters to 1300 meters. The average vertical height of taxiing is between 800 and 1000 meters.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: You need to bring or rent your own ski equipment.
Prepare warm clothes, including windproof jackets and windproof pants, thermal gloves, ski goggles or strong light mirrors, and sunscreen.
Our one-day skiing trip is magnificent, so don't forget to bring a camera and leave a wonderful moment of helicopter skiing!
We provide lunch, but you will experience a few hours of high-strength exercise before the lunch break. It is recommended to bring some drinking water and snacks to maintain physical strength.
Q: What safety equipment do you provide?
A: We take all safety measures to ensure that tourists are equipped with the appropriate equipment in the field ski area and make proper preparations for the day's trip. We provide an avalanche searcher for every tourist, and tourists will receive a safety introduction before starting the journey. We will explain the use of the avalanche search instrument, as well as the safety of the helicopter and in the mountains.
